What the work was
The Division of Hematology at The Ottawa Hospital collaborated with gynecology specialists to launch Building Blood, a quality improvement project aimed at reducing blood transfusion use in the gynecologic population and addressing learning gaps in the management of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) through accessible educational resources.
To support this effort, Sparx designed and developed a single-page website (BuildingBlood.ca) to house downloadable handouts and other educational materials.
With clear, concise copy and accessible design, Sparx led the visual direction, established brand guidelines, and delivered a cohesive digital experience that brought the project to life. The final result ensures that vital information on IDA is easy to find, understand, and share.
