Our History

In a Vancouver coffee shop in 2011, the spark of an idea grew from one simple question: Why was it so hard to research and compare Canadian online brokerages? That question ignited what has now become a leading online publication for Canadian DIY investors, SparxTrading.com, and set into motion a bold adventure into the world of content marketing.

The data-driven strengths demonstrated on SparxTrading.com soon attracted the attention of DIY investors,major Canadian financial brands (including several big banks), and other businesses in the finance space, who chose to work with us on increasingly complex digital marketing challenges. And Sparx Publishing Group began to grow.

Never afraid of new marketing adventures, when industries outside of finance started asking for our help, we jumped at the challenge.

Fast forward to today. We are still growing, and proudly serving clients in a variety of industries, building and managing complex content ecosystems for clients across Canada and the US. But we're most proud of the fact that all of our clients want to make an impact on the world.

Our journey has taught us that every great story begins with the courage to embrace the awesome potential of a spark. Our mission is to seek out, nurture and amplify those sparks in the hope of creating a brighter world for all.
