The Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), also known as the Exchange for Entrepreneurs, has a goal to provide public companies with a combination of cost-efficient access to capital markets and exceptional service.
A trusted partner of the CSE since 2014, Sparx has helped the CSE with marketing efforts to leverage key capital markets and industry events, both CSE-hosted and external, that open the door to new issuers and investors.
Hosted annually by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada, the PDAC Convention is a premier mineral exploration and mining event known for attracting up to 30,000 attendees from over 130+ countries, providing a wealth of networking opportunities.
Participating annually, the CSE also hosts networking events, such as the PDAC Investor Luncheon, in conjunction with PDAC to amplify its presence and acquire contacts.
Sparx helps the CSE leverage these CSE-hosted networking events by writing, designing, and publishing pre-event online collateral, including Facebook, webpage, Eventbrite, social posts, and targeted emails to gauge interest. Then, following the events, we craft and deploy post-event emails to bolster the relationships with new contacts from the events. The effectiveness of these efforts is proven by the 2023 sold-out Investor Luncheon event.
To gain networking contacts and attract potential issuers, the CSE has held various educational seminars, such as the CSE Networking Event – Securities Lawyers in Colorado, and Going Public and Raising Capital in Canada.
Sparx constructed Eventbrite pages, ran social media pushes, and designed graphics and materials to highlight these events and attract hyper-aligned audiences.
TPD is a recruiting and staffing agency that has provided workforce solutions for over 40 years across both the US and Canada.
We help TPD generate leads through continuous technical and on-page SEO efforts, revamping existing pages, creating lookalike pages with updated keywords, and making fresh content.
With the implementation of our SEO strategy, TPD’s key business pages receive increased organic traffic, which has led to greater contact acquisition.
Foundation for Environmental Stewardship (FES) is a non-profit sustainable development organization that empowers youth to create a more inclusive, fair, prosperous, and sustainable future. Its N:OW for Net-Zero project provides free educational resources for Canadian students and teachers across a variety of subjects, from science to social studies, for grades 7–12.
With a goal to increase awareness and obtain 500 downloads of its N:OW for Net-Zero curriculum resources, FES entrusted Sparx with an ad campaign. We set up a range of ads across company platforms, including Twitter, TikTok, Bing, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and Google, with targeted messages to appeal to specific audiences.
Overall, this campaign was a huge success: we delivered a month ahead of schedule and exceeded the target number of downloads!
When recruiting and staffing agency TPD wanted to help attract mining companies interested in increasing their diversity and inclusion hiring practices, they turned to Sparx. Working alongside TPD, we built a full advertising campaign for promoting diverse hiring practices in mining.
TPD entrusted Sparx with creating each part of the campaign, which included a downloadable guide, landing page, and advertisements which were run on multiple platforms with the goal of expanding TPD’s audience and acquiring new contacts, increasing engagement, and inspiring visitors to download the guide.
We worked within budget and successfully achieved campaign goals.
Work With Us Foundation is a non-profit charity that provides employment opportunities for Canada's historically-excluded populations and connects employers with diverse, untapped talent.
When Work With Us Foundation wanted to generate leads, boost engagement, and share its expertise to expand its reach, Sparx was ready to rise to the challenge. We helped Work With Us Foundation acquire new contacts by creating a downloadable diversity and inclusion guide, which we promoted through an ad campaign that helped them reach a wider audience.
